When Hill House at Trailborn Mendocino — the restored historic inn perched above California’s dramatic Mendocino coast — was outfitting its guest rooms, they came to us with a lovely, specific brief: a round tray for each room that could corral a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses (plus whatever else a nightstand tends to collect).
We answered with our Round Tray in Black Terrazzo — handmade, satisfyingly heavy, and speckled just enough to feel special without stealing the show. It’s the kind of piece that turns “a glass of wine before bed” into a small ritual, which is exactly the slow-down energy a stay on the Mendocino coast is all about.
