Fewer, better kitchen things. Material was founded in NYC in 2018 by Eunice Byun and David Nguyen on a simple idea: an edited kitchen beats a crowded one. They're best known for their cutting boards, and our assortment keeps growing beyond them — the Goun dinnerware we carry is made with Korean ceramics studio Soilbaker in Yeoju, a town that's been firing porcelain for a thousand years, and takes its shape from the Korean Moon Jar.
