Introducing Wei, a candlestick designed to evoke the romance of a foregone era. Inspired by the timeless elegance of 16th-century design, Wei will leave you feeling like you’ve been transported to an enchanted castle, where you ascend a spiraling staircase illuminated by candlelight alone. This unique piece combines elements of classic design with a modern twist. Its cantilevered surface pays homage to contemporary architecture, seamlessly blending tradition with innovation.

Details: Hand-built in stoneware in Virginia Sin's Brooklyn studio. Designed in 2024.

Dimensions: 5.5"L x 2.5"W x 2.5"H

Fits a 3/4" bottom, standard taper candle cup size.

Care: Soften candle wax by soaking the candelabra in warm water. Then, scrape off the softened wax with a flat tool. For any leftover wax or staining, scrub with a hard bristle brush under warm water. Consider using Bar Keepe

  • Hand-built in Virginia Sin's ceramics studio at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
  • Every piece is formed from clay by hand, air-dried for three to fourteen days, then fired twice.
  • Because clay is a natural material and each piece is built by hand, slight variations in size, shape, texture and finish are expected — they're a mark of the process, not flaws.
  • No two pieces are exactly alike.
  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
  • These are hand-built coil ceramics, not dinnerware. Hand wash with clear soap and warm water and set out to air dry — no dishwasher, no microwave.
  • For candleholders and candlesticks, soften wax by soaking the piece in warm water, then scrape it off with a flat tool and scrub any residue with a stiff brush.
