From Virginia Sin — the Noor Pillar Candleholder Tall in Bone.

A soft gesture in hard material. Noor cradles your candle in a sculptural weave, folding upward to form a pedestal for pillar light. Echoing the rhythmic folds of our Gala Tray and Stria sconces, its low, grounded silhouette is equal parts poetic and practical. Striking on its own. Even better as a pair. Available in 2 heights.

Fits a 3" diameter standard pillar candle.

Fire safety: make sure candles are securely seated before lighting, never leave a lit candle unattended, and put candles out once they burn down to one inch.

Care: Soften candle wax by soaking the piece in warm water, then scrape off the softened wax with a flat tool. For leftover wax or staining, scrub with a hard bristle brush under warm water.

  • Hand-built in Virginia Sin's ceramics studio at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
  • Every piece is formed from clay by hand, air-dried for three to fourteen days, then fired twice.
  • Because clay is a natural material and each piece is built by hand, slight variations in size, shape, texture and finish are expected — they're a mark of the process, not flaws.
  • No two pieces are exactly alike.
  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
  • These are hand-built coil ceramics, not dinnerware. Hand wash with clear soap and warm water and set out to air dry — no dishwasher, no microwave.
  • For candleholders and candlesticks, soften wax by soaking the piece in warm water, then scrape it off with a flat tool and scrub any residue with a stiff brush.
